Hello, we're Mariana and Ricardo, and we're excited to share this new project with you: Spinwave.
More than a laundromat, we dream of creating a place where people feel welcome, where neighbors can connect, where conversations can happen, and where a sense of community can grow.
We want to provide a clean, comfortable, efficient, and inviting space for everyone.
We feel very fortunate to become part of the history of this building, which has been part of the community for 106 years. We love thinking about all the people who have passed through its doors and the stories these walls have witnessed over time.
There is something special about laundromats. They are places where people of different ages and backgrounds naturally cross paths. We hope Spinwave will become a place where neighbors not only come to do their laundry, but also feel connected, welcomed, and part of a community.
For 30 years, we have shared many dreams — some big, some small — and today we are excited to begin a new one.

Más que una lavandería, soñamos con un espacio donde las personas se sientan bienvenidas, donde los vecinos puedan encontrarse, donde surjan conversaciones y donde poco a poco se fortalezca el sentido de comunidad.
Queremos ofrecer un lugar limpio, cómodo, eficiente y agradable para todos.
Nos sentimos muy afortunados de formar parte de la historia de este edificio, que ha sido parte de esta comunidad durante 106 años. Nos encanta pensar en todas las personas que han pasado por aquí y en las historias que estas paredes han visto a lo largo del tiempo.
Las lavanderías tienen algo especial. Son lugares donde personas de diferentes edades e historias coinciden de manera natural. Nos gustaría que Spinwave fuera un lugar donde los vecinos no solo vengan a lavar su ropa, sino donde también se reconozcan, se conecten y se sientan parte de una comunidad.

Spinwave Laundry is coming soon to San Pedro at 112 S. Pacific Ave. We don't have a public opening date yet — sign up using the Notify form below and we'll email you the moment we open.
Spinwave Laundry is at 112 S. Pacific Ave., San Pedro, CA 90731, in the heart of downtown San Pedro.
We'll be open Monday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM — seven days a week, 16 hours a day.
We'll have washers in 20 lb, 30 lb, 40 lb, 60 lb, and 80 lb capacities, plus high-speed dryers in 30 lb and 55 lb capacities. From a solo load to oversized comforters, every load has a machine sized for it.
Yes — there's ample free parking right outside the laundromat, well-lit and convenient day or night.
We accept cash (no coins), credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay. Pay however is most convenient.
Spinwave is a self-service laundromat that's also fully attended. Friendly staff are on site whenever we're open, so help is always nearby if you need it.
Not on opening day, but soon after. At launch we'll be focused on making the self-service experience exceptional. Both Fluff & Fold (drop your laundry off, we wash, dry, and fold it) and Pickup & Delivery are on our roadmap and we plan to roll them out shortly after opening.
